White on White

In my winter travels recently I came across winter scenery that always warms my heart.

Draft horses, decorated village homes and old barns.

And for a little color....

Here is the cherry truffle at church fellowship.

and the poinsettia that my flock thought was for them.

Have a safe and wonderful Christmas!

Hope Santa's reindeer leave you some magical fertilizer!

Oh light, bovine!

  1. What beautiful white images! We don't get much snow here in NC but I am northerner by birth and I miss the snow! I am praying for some this year. It was 75 here a day or so ago...today 40's and in the 20's tonight...unfortunately clear skies :( Thank you for sharing your lovely photos and Merry Christmas!

  2. Oh! those front porches look so pretty! And that Cherry Truffle looks divine! Merry Christmas :)

  9. Thank you so much for your visit and wonderful advice about the mixer, Janis. I really appreciate it. You have a truly wonderful blog! I love seeing what life on a farm looks like. I'm confused about your names though. I thought your name was Ellen, but maybe I just made a mistake.
