The hay was all raked, baled, wrapped and stacked before it rained.
The tractors are older than I am.
The smell of fresh hay permeated the air for miles.
This is a cows eye view of the long line of rolled bales ready to be wrapped and stacked.
Hopefully we can get a second cutting before September.
Have you got your hay in yet?

Jim just finished 3rd cutting yesterday. It was a hot one, for sure! I chuckled at your comment about the age of the tractors...ours are all older than us, too! :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a field to cut and bale and the animals to eat it all.
ReplyDeleteWe're just doing second cutting this year. We've stockpiled a lot of grass and hope that will carry us well into winter.
ReplyDeleteHaven't heard from our hayman when he's going to do the second cutting.
