Cow Chat and Chew

At 91 degrees at 10 am, the herd was gathered around the water cooler this morning having their usual discussions.

I often wonder what the topic of the day is.

Today might have been:       Why do the turkeys insist on making so much noise every morning ?

Most of the adult cows prefer to just chew cud and swat flies rather than deliberate about the wild turkey's behaviors.

The teenagers, however, have lots to say and want their opinions known.

The rest of the herd just wants to eat, not talk.
Some cows prefer to graze even in the hottest part of the day.

Usually the black cows stay in the shade......

 The calves are getting bolder now and come up to see me.

I like this fancy heifer.

I wonder what the calves talk about.

Got any ideas ?
